Fraser MacPherson Jazz Workshop Grant
A new program by the Fraser MacPherson Scholarship Fund aimed to help coordinate and partially assist with funding to bring professional jazz musicians into school classrooms.
The Fraser MacPherson Jazz Workshop Grant funds a jazz artist/clinician to attend a school in British Columbia to perform and work with students in an instrumental jazz program. The award is $100 that must be matched by the school to create an operating budget of $200 for the workshop. We will work with schools and teachers to find artists that will best help the program and address the needs of the students and their groups.
