Raising the Roof: A 25th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, 30 September
St. Andrew’s-Wesley, Burrard/Nelson (7:30pm)

St. Andrew’s-Wesley has offered weekly Jazz Vespers for 25 years, one of only two places in the world with such a commitment to the music (the other is St. Peter’s in Manhattan). We figure that’s something worth celebrating, and so we are! It’s also a fundraiser—let’s repair the church’s leaky roof. Who will be there? Among others, The Marcus Mosely Chorale, Kate Hammett-Vaughan (who sang at the first JAZZ VESPERS), Margaret Gallagher (yep, the CBC radio host), the entire Dal Richards Orchestra. MORE INFO

Do you play jazz? Or something like it? Let us know about your gig. Email cjbs@coastaljazz.ca with the details and we'll list it here.
