Dal Richards Scholarship

Congratulations to our 2010 Dal Richards
Scholarship Winner!

For the fifth consecutive year Coastal Jazz will award a $2,000 scholarship sponsored by legendary bandleader Dal Richards. Last year the scholarship was awarded to Chelsea McBride, a talented high school student in the 2010 High School Jazz Intensive program. Chelsea enjoyed the opportunity to perform with Dal Richards and his Orchestra during “Gastown Jazz” and is now moving on to post-secondary music studies.
