About the Artists
Dutch trumpeter Eric Vloeimans is regarded as one of Europe’s most extraordinary musicians. He is unique among many of Holland’s top international jazz artists in that he does not shy away from playing beautifully. Moreover, he has mastered the complete range of the trumpet, and this has been acknowledged by being presented the Dutch Edison Award four times. Eric’s collaborators over the years have included luminaries John Taylor, Marc Johnson, Charlie Mariano, Han Bennink, and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. His acclaimed chamber jazz trio features Anton Goudsmit guitar and Harmen Fraanje piano. Their broad repertoire ranges from contemporary jazz, hymns, and world music to occasional standards.
