Concert Series
The Cellar Restaurant / Jazz Club and Coastal Jazz partner on an exciting collaborative jazz series called Cross Border Jazz. The series brings acclaimed artists from across North America to Vancouver to perform with the city’s finest musicians in stimulating one-of-a-kind encounters. Their sharing and exploring of various musical concepts and ideas should provide for many memorable moments.
About the Artists
Tenor sax titan David Schnitter came to prominence in the ’70s with Art Blakey. He’s also worked with Freddie Hubbard and Frank Foster. This New Yorker hooks up with Bill Coon guitar, Ken Lister bass, and Craig Scott drums.
