Whether digging into some hard-driving, blues-tinged organ jazz on the Hammond B3, or singing classic tunes made by the likes of Ray Charles and Nat King Cole, Philadelphia born Ben Paterson has garnered international acclaim for his superb musicianship and engaging performances, able to draw in both aficionados and Jazz neophytes alike. Joining Ben will be guitarist Ed Cherry, an expressive instrumentalist who has a hip, melodic approach that is a refreshing contrast. Ed is most noted for his work with the great Dizzy Gillespie from 1978 – 1992. Most recently he has found a home at Posi-tone Records where he just released Soul Tree. This release demonstrates the soul and wisdom that has earned him a place on the list of great jazz guitarists. With Julian MacDonough on drums.

"This concert is in loving memory of Bunny Moreton – a good friend, classy lady, and long-time jazz fan who had a particular predilection for jazz organ. She reintroduced me to jazz many years ago and thanks to her diligent research, we hit all the high spots and a few low ones as well. I’m so grateful to have known Bunny and to have shared so much with her. More concerts to follow, so stay tuned, Bunny!" -Joan
