Tyshawn Sorey

New York-based drummer, pianist, composer Tyshawn Sorey leads his own music projects, and is a regular member of groups led by trumpeter Dave Douglas and saxophonist Steve Coleman. He teaches at the School for Improvisational Music and the New School and has worked with Misha Mengelberg, Anthony Braxton and more.
