Tony Wilson Sextet

A major force in our city’s creative music community, guitarist/bandleader Tony Wilson is one of the most original guitar stylists on the Canadian scene. His compositions tap into the whole history of jazz and blues, shifting from Leadbelly’s moaning sound to Metheny-like combustion. The sextet features some of Vancouver’s most impressive improvisers.
